Pitigliano

Pitigliano is one of the most picturesque villages in southern Tuscany, perched on a dramatic tufa cliff in the Maremma area of Grosseto. Thanks to its historic Jewish community and well-preserved ghetto, it is known as the “Little Jerusalem” of Tuscany.

The historic centre is easily explored on foot. Just outside the village, the famous Etruscan Vie Cave offer unforgettable walks along deep corridors cut into the volcanic stone, surrounded by lush countryside.
